Just because your body is awake, that doesn't mean your mind is.

Research suggests that most people experience severe cognitive impairment during the first 3 to 10 minutes after waking up.

In fact, mental faculties may not reach peak performance for up to 2 hours after rising.

Give yourself ample time to wake up before tackling tasks requiring concentration or careful thought, such as driving or doing your taxes.

well, i tink i would rather sleep den wake up 2 hrs in advance so i can drive to work...duh!
