i was chatting wif baohuan when we got to the topic of AHS' 50th anniversary tis yr.

suddenli, he asked if i knew tat they changed the skool song. OMG! how could they do such a thing?

if there's anything i'm proud of, it's the sense of belonging i feel for AHS. before tdy, i had even hoped tat my kids can stardee there too.

but now, the whole thing juz seem absurd to mi.

yes, i still rem part of the skool song. in fact, my bro sang the first line for mi straightaway when i asked him juz nw.

now we can no longer relate to AHS thru the skool song. we can't even sing along if they play the NEW skool song.

y r they doing tis? tis will alienate all the past cohorts of AHS boys & gers.

i feel beli indignant abt it. i feel tat they're forsaking our legacy. i can't feel any sense of belonging to a skool whose skool song is foreign to mi !

i jio-ed baohuan to start an online petition abt tis. it'll b up by tomolo.

dear fellow AHS ppl, pls sign the petition when it is ready tomolo & support the cause to keep the original skool song !

we r hoping to get at least a hundred signatures, 100 from each cohort. pls spread the word to all AHS ppl, thanx!
