how familiar! tis is so commonly heard coming from us gers. and we mean it.

i categorise the guys i noe into a few groups and jie mei are certainly those tat i hold closest to my heart.

SY is high on the list, well he reali was my jie mei when i got hitched.
Alvin has also made it too but abit of roles reversal coz he's not my jie mei but i'm his guy fren instead.

ppl hoo u can tok abt anything wif, from aspirations to guys to politics to work. but it's much harder to find ppl wif common views or hoo can at least understand ur views. Alvin cannot make it in tis sense.

take the cambodian trip for eg. it's not juz a sightseeing and garuda spotting trip. the poverty we saw and the living conditions. all these triggered so many thots in both SY & moi

and the SSS, i spoke to so many ppl abt tis. but onli a couple of frens felt the same way tat i did, indignant and passionate. SY was one and i instigated Baohuan to start the petition and Lionel was surprised to hear abt it too.

guess the same theory applies to our networking. u can haf lotsa frens but how many is of the same mentality as u?

and GE, i was pleasantly surprised tat wende shared the same views as mi and we attended the same rallies. we oso visited the same forum. aiyah, we should haf got reunited earlier.
