SY juz emailed the VP for explanation on skool song change.

he used my 'nations dun change their national anthem wifout validity' line. got copyright one ok.

and i luv his signoff. he used the first 4 lines of the original skool song as his signature. how apt!
and it's the most rem lines for everyone.

it's like the build up to the actual battle but we need more ammunition to fight the war.

our cause is for our original skool song to b reinstated and we'll sing tat proudly on the occassion of the 50th anniversary.

yes, we want this song tat 45 cohorts of alumni rem to be reinstated on AHS' golden jubilee and used for the next 50 yrs at least. changing the song is akin to forsaking the past 45 yrs of history, tradition, culture and most impt, all the past students.

and not true tat few of the staff noe abt the change since i read from another alumni's blog tat he went back to AHS last yr and sang the old song wif his teacher during the ceremony. and yongjing definitely noes abt the change. he's from our cohort, ok.

i rest my case till further updates is recd from the skool.
