coffee slush

What you'll need:
1/2 cup sugar
3/4 cup water
2 cups freshly brewed espresso or coffee


What you'll do:
In a small saucepan, slowly dissolve the sugar in the water over medium heat.
Let cool and stir in the coffee.
Pour the mixture into a shallow freezer-safe bowl and place in the freezer. Stir the mixture every 40 minutes or so. The mixture should be frozen in about 4 hours.
Decant into an elegant glass and enjoy with a straw and spoon. (And yes, a little bit of whipped cream on top would be just divine.)
