My frustration wif Sistic website

sigh...i dun even noe where i should start my story.

internet booking for DBS cardholders started at 9am tis morning and i happily started my ordeal of booking the tickets for Phantom.

the website states tat the opening night is 28 mar 07 yet the show starts on 23rd mar 07...i *scratch* my head when i saw tis but i thot mayb it's some special arrangement to haf 'opening' nite on 28th instead.

and thus i happily tried to book 2 tickets for the 28th.

i was given row AA or BB for Cat 1 !! nah beh! and the seats were at the extreme right side. KNS!!

i tried combi of 2 and 3 seats and guessed wat?! i got 5 seats in row C!! i decided to book tis combi but the stoopid website refused to let mi get past the pyt page. ARGH!

and my prime seats were released by the system when my sessions timed out!

tis continued till lunch time when i managed to get 5 seats together in row C but alas, i still couldn't complete my transaction !

all tis while, i was complaining to karen how i'm abt to vomit blood from using the website liao.

she called mi abt 3pm and advised mi to make phone booking as wat her fren juz did, coz tickets were going fast.

to b honest, i hate using phone services as i hate being answered by some call routing system (VR). some of the call vectors are rightdwn stoopid and i find it beli hard to concentrate and understand long pre-recorded instructions over the phone.

so i was reli reluctant to use the phone booking.

but it was the BEST thing tat i did tdy!

to my surprise, i got thru after onli a couple of rings and it was answered by a customer service rep straightaway. *score* points liao. i was reli pleasantly surprised.

i explained the probs i was facing, wif booking tickets online.

i was shocked to learnt tat the opening night was wrongly stated on the website. it should b 23rd mar and not 28th mar!! thank goodness my bookings didn't go thru.

not tat i muz watch on the opening nite but imagine the disappointment i would haf felt if i thot i was booking tickets for opening nite.

i gave the rep a few date options and told him to find mi the best seats.

guess wat!? he did! he recommended Row E (4th row from the front) as we would b straining our necks if we sat in the first couple of rows.

i was even informed tat i could pick up my tickets immediately from any sistic authorised agents instead of having to go to the particular agent i selected if i had booked online! now i feel abit cheated when i die die had to pick up my forbidden city tickets from bedok.

it was a breeze making the booking by phone and i would certainly stick wif tis mode of booking from now on !
