I saw my CEO today! Up close & personal!

This is so exciting!
I was given a chance to present to him for my "ECA", an talent development program. It's so once in a lifetime!

I also presented a momento to him & took a picture with him. I shall frame and place it on my desk. It shall be a constant source of inspiration to me & what the company values & culture stands for.

I started getting the jitters after lunch. I sat down at my desk & my heart was thumping away madly. I don't usually get so excited over work but Marie assured me it's normal & only human to feel nervous.

After all, he's the #1 guy or Agent 001 of the company!

I sent a SOS email to June & Kimberly who came to my rescue & kept me company till it was time for "it".

It didn't help that the earlier business review overrun & our session was postponed for 45 mins. Oh! The agony of waiting!

The group of us waited in a room near the staff lounge & when Ken walked past the opened room door during the break, we all went "ah" like girl fans of boy bands. The whole thing had such a celebrity & glam feel to it.

I feel really fortunate to have this opportunity today. Hope I get the chance to see him again at his next visit. Which we may have to wait for another 2 years.

Till then, I'll work hard at my current role because everyone has the power of the little water droplet. To create a series of bigger ripples around them!
