Accidents & (not so) common car sense

I posted tis comment on SY's blog when i read abt his accident wif the old lancer.

i had a minor accident the other day when i was turning left along Loyang to get onto PIE.

my car 'kissed' the bumper of the taxi in front.we pulled over & i got out of the car to tok to the uncle.

den the most amazing thing happened.uncle looked at my front bumper, inspected his back bumper & tested opening & closing his boot.

den he waved me off coz there is really no visible damage!

unfortunately tat's the end of my front bumper's good fortune. i scratched it slightly the other day when i spotted a prime lot on deck 1A of my carpark.

nah beh! the carpark so dark tat i couldn't see the white coloured wall in front of mi and my bumper "kissed" the wall. poor design of carpark! i wana complain! luckily 我很看得开的。afterall, the car is 身外物. no problem is too big if $$ can solve it

i sent the car for servicing yest and ah nee spotted my car when she collected hers. her odyssey oredi 3 yrs old but she going for 60,000 km servicing. my car onli 2 yrs ago & oso having 60,000 km servicing. double nah beh!

y the mileage so high? not like i live in changi & work in jurong. tink i should take mrt & give my car a break....haha

the funni part was when i asked the technician if i needed to touch up the front bumper coz i scared it'll rust.

well, he replied tat touch up beli obvious & ugly AND MOST IMPTLY, wun rust coz the bumper is plastic. wah lauz...mi abit the 白痴 rite??!
so i no need to bother to touch up liao. the scratches dun bother mi at all since i can't see them most of the time. haha

hmm...and kk explained y it's safer to park head first in m'sia. tis will make it harder for ppl to steal ur car coz the front wheels are locked so can't tow away. point taken.
