thot i can catch up on some sleep since no worldcup these 2 nites but instead i got carried away msn-ing. tat explains why there's so little updates on my blog too.

mi is tired liao. can onli sleep 3 hrs. got earli client meeting at 9. tink i should drink a gallon of Teh-C tomolo to keep awake. and i muz rem to place more bets...hehe

caught up wif auntie florence and kinlai juz now. nice! so good to b catching up. i muz organise tis more often. and i m looking forward to karaoke...hehe...mi shall make all the glass shatter....hahaha

anyway, was going to make tis one posting but obviously i din get ard to updating the previous post last nite.



alvin showed mi his new toy...a touchscreen tissot watch...SO COOL!

if he didn't demo, i thot it's juz a normal watch but TOUCHSCREEN is so amazing...ok lah...mi is suaku...aiyah...mi not interested in such things mah but so fun

met alvin for supper last nite.

the first thing he noticed when he got into my car was, the time on my radio is wrong.

now tis is beli sad lor. the time has been incorrect since my batt went flat last mth. it was on 28th may tat i discovered my batt is dead lor so exactly one month.

i haf drove so many ppl ard and there has been many attempts by my passengers and myself to set the time but to no avail.

so poor mi has been stealing glances at my wristwatch whenever i need the time while driving. stressed ah!

anyway, alvin offered to set the time for mi. so i let him fiddle wif it lor. after all, so many ppl try oredi, no harm in him trying too.

GUESS WAT??!!

he actualli managed to set the time!!

ok, mayb i shouldn't sound so surprised. but i oredi gave up all hope of ever having the correct time in my car...hehe

and he has to rub it in by saying 'So, you need a pilot to set the time' ^&*%#@&*^@

Dinner with Huaqing

went to old airport road for dinner wif HQ.

had the lau fu zi char kway teow and orrlua


i was hungry at 5+ & had my first concoction of S Factor Plus wif wheatgrass and veg juice.

the result : extremely green mixture but quite yummy coz the juice is sweet.

heard from william last nite tat he tried green tea flavoured soy milk wif S Factor Plus and it's nice too.

y didn't i use pear & passionfruit yoghurt drink as the sampling in the cafeteria?

well, becoz the 7-11 at aliwal st onli haf the strawberry flavoured yoghurt...mi dun take strawberries at all lor...and strawberry flavoured stuff r out too.

so i used my creativity for tis special concoction of S Factor Plus.

tink mi will gain weight coz i not taking Super ABOBA and having S Factor Plus on top of my regular meals. jialat ah!

Things to do and things i haf done

wah! my to do list is getting longer by the day.

i spent close to an hour packing up the stuff in my car coz getting real messy. got rid of some stuff too. and my MEL bag ( LJ, the beli nice black one tat we found at Bugis ) is giving way.

decided to migrate my stuff to the Ferre bag and change to handbag again. lugging my laptop around in a shoulder bag is quite tiring lor.

and i reli muz get around to starting the petition.

wanted to update 43 things but i can't figure out how to...duh

and i wanna start crocheting again

Piggy is full

i haf a piggy CD case in my car tat i thot will nbr fill up...guess wat?? it is now full and i haf 1 disc tat can't fit in so my cd deck will always be loaded wif the xtra disc.

not tat i even bother to change disc very often.

mi is more a radio person lah

mayb i should get another 'animal' for my CD soon.

Super ABOBA is in town now and YT has started taking it.

the box is reli cute and small wif lotsa japanese words.

i popped by ann's place juz now and borrowed her 'Eat Right for Your Type' book which is in line wif how our weight management program is tailored.

Dinner and letdown by Italy

went to hk styled cafe @ kovan wif karen for dinner tonite.

since we need to wait for alex, we decided to make a sidetrip to singapore pools for mi to collect my winnings of $18 for the togo match.

at the same time, we placed some bets. karen did some analysis of the avg goals by aussie and italy. we bet 3 and 4 total goals wif score of 2-1. wat a disappointment tat italy onli won by 1 goal. there seems to b a goal drought for tis world cup.

the decor reminds mi of macau cafe where marie brought mi for dinner on 1st nite.

















we tried the toast and cold veg eaten wif wasabi soy sauce dip. both beli nice leh!

haha, after mark & karen did the 借位 kissing scene in hk, they were up to it again last fri.

we went at sentosa attending eric's wedding dinner.

see, the effects quite good hor, can't really tell it's camera trick.

was chatting wif kinlai & she mentioned tis when describing how both of us r in the habit of leaving msn on but disappear altogether.

i always scold ppl 没礼貌 but i'm the most 没礼貌 one coz i dun bother to set my status to away even when i not at hm...haha

so the personal coaching training i attended did raised a valid point. when u hate someone's behaviour, very often, u r exhibiting the same behaviour. tat revelation made mi always pause when i get beli irritated wif someone. i always question myself if i haf the same prob.

eg. being late...i hate waiting for ppl thus i m always late...i m irritated if someone is late, Voila!

So excited!!


Today's the products launch of Super ABOBA, S Factor Plus and Imu 6. the Super ABOBA and Imu 6 is long awaited for.


The concept of slimming by blood type has taken Japan and HK by storm. and ann's got a book from kinokuniya on tis. will borrow from her & study the topic in greater depth.

Imu 6 is colostrum collected during the initial 6 hrs after the cow has given birth. the fact tat colostrum is highly nutritious and boosts the immune system is a well known fact and applies to humans too. there's a book by Dr Antony, father of Imu 6 tat i muz pick up tdy.



Juz learnt abt the properties of S Factor Plus. wow! really a beli powerful super food! got so many nutrients leh! i'll go sample the concoction wif pear yoghurt drink tdy...sounds good!
tink i'll put a bottle in my office as bfast since i always no time to haf bfast & end up starving.

Yummy Lor Mee

Went to army mkt for lunch yest and had the yummy lor mee. so many ingredients and taste so good!! two thumbs up!











the char kway teow stall is crowded as usual. long queue. quite unique and special coz lotsa greens and silver fish. not too oily too but char kway teow is hardly something u'll eat beli often, at least not in my case.

Marina South 南南家 curry

swinged by town to pick karen for lunch after client's miting on wed.

suddenli, it seems like not many ppl in our group r working in shenton way nowadays.

we went for 南南家 curry @ Marina South. the gravy is so good! we shared a veg & chicken one. still rem how we used to go to amara hotel during lunch when i was still at hitachi. ah la's fav though it's too spicy for her. and tat was when janet lee was still working here. time flies!

they haf a stall in bedok interchange too. the ex NTUC coffeeshop...tink it may haf changed name now. i usually see a lot of ppl having the curry fishhead there but i haf nbr tried.

muz make it a point to try it out. afterall, bedok is my turf leh.

gonna haf supper wif baohuan at 85 mkt tonite, post wedding dinner at sentosa. any takers? pls feel free to join us. we'll b discussing next course of action for SSS.

Had dinner wif the gers at liang seah st last nite.

den played pool for 3 hrs straight at end of purvis st, juz above singapore pools.

been so long since i last played.

we played doubles whereby HQ & moi selected Apple or Orange. but the funniest part was when we played free form.

we placed the balls randomly around the table and ended up wif mad scramble of 4 gers trying to shot the balls in at the same time. no need for white ball even.

Latest update on car

goh happened to wana go to his father's workshop to pass him something.

i was juz abt to step out for lunch so he brought mi to the workshop on the way.

onli ate 1 cornetto since morning. not feeling hungry but tink i should go for my teh-C soon.

mayb i'll grab a bite too, bread? too lazy to eat even.

now i 'm carless till tomolo. anyone wana go hm wif mi? i need to hitch a ride from someone.

Car door can't open!!

mi is damn suei tdy lor. hit the curb when i was turning.

now my driver side door cannot open...duno abt back door...haben try.

stressed ah...juz wana get it fixed asap but looks like i need to leave my car at workshop liao.

paul recommended his workshop but sin ming is abit far lor.

AHS in the news

got a sms from baohuan tat ahs is in the news

as i read the article about how they haf complied a book《圣公会中学校史》for all new sec 1 students to stardee, i wonder if there will b any mention tat the skool song they r currently singing, is onli 5 yrs old!!

the song do not haf 50 yrs worth of rich cultural & linguistic heritage as the rest of AHS.

the vice principal has not replied to our query. i m getting impatient. i tink i'll gif him a call tomolo myself. i will make reference to tis article. after all, i still haf the book they published to commerate 30th anniversary.

isn't tis damn ironical? on one hand, they seem so proud of the heritage of AHS, yet on the other, they do something so ridiculous to destroy wat little ties we past cohorts have wif the skool.

yesh, i wana hold my head up high and sing the TRUE skool song of AHS tat has 45 yrs of history and not the modified version

and quoting the principal 文校长说：“以后，没有圣中学生会对他的母校历史感到陌生。”

well, u haf 45 yrs of past cohorts of students hoo will feel 陌生 towards the skool song lor!!

actualli i posted tis entry after the words in bold. den started toking to baohuan again and i decided i need to add on.

to the principal's point of students not feeling 陌生 abt the skool's history...did they consider the feelings of us, the past 45 cohorts of students when they changed OUR skool song??

if they r onli concerned abt how future batches of students feel abt the skool, i feel like 45 cohorts of students have been disowned by the skool.

and we haf decided not to wait anymore. mi been in touch wif so many past AHS students over the course of last 2 wks...ran into jiajun, linked up wif lionel, weijian, even added hanchuan on frenster and met hanxian for lunch....wow! the law of attraction realli works lor!!

baohuan is drafting letter to send to zaobao in response to tis article. i'll call the principal tomolo and express our shock in wat the skool has done. we will restate our request for an explanation from the skool. and let them noe abt our concurrent course of action which is writing to zaobao & starting the petition. the sooner we create awareness of tis prob, the better it is. coz we reali want as many past students to b supporting tis cause as possible.

tis fight is not juz for us, it is to preserve AHS' history. it'll b beli sad if we choose to ignore how they haf wantonly thrown away our history, on the occasion of ahs' golden jubilee.

Steamboat buffet @ M hotel

was looking for dinner wif HQ when we passed by M hotel. decided to gif the steamboat dinner a try. the soup base ( we had tom yum & chicken ) is beli beli bland lor.








but the spread is alrite and i like the drunken prawns best.





























desserts was great. i was juz tinking of chocolate fondue in the afternoon. din expect to haf one at nite. yea! yea! mi ate so mani marshmallows.














the mango pudding was nice and we had some vanilla ice-cream too.

i came up wif the bright idea of using the chocolate from the fondue as topping for our ice-cream.

guess wat?? the chocolate solidified so quickly upon contact wif the ice-cream. we ended up wif chocolate coated vanilla ice-cream. lol, juz like those tat we had when young.

mi is paddle pop fan, i rem. for the chocolate flavour. suddenli got craving for more ice-cream.
