Update on AHS school song saga

i couldn't hold it back anymore so i sent an email to the gang to inform them of the skool song saga and the upcoming petition.

met SY & XM briefly at nite to pass them the sales kit aka file.

SY said he saw my posting abt the skool song and feels so strong abt it too.

how they could haf make such a decision, to alienate and cut off 50 yrs ( not sure exactly when they changed the skool song but can't b more den 5 yrs ) of legacy and 50 past cohorts of students? now i feel absolutely no sense of belonging and so cut-off from the skool.

yes, and our song is not juz a nice tune to sing to. the lyrics are beli meaningful and the new song makes mi laff (in disgust! ) as SY puts it, now it sounds more like pri skool song.

SY has undertaken to rally more ex AHS folks to come sign and i haf ppl from various cohorts in mind too. even msg an AHS junior i found when i searched for 'ahs school song anglican'.
