Reinstatement of AHS sch song-petition underway

the petition's been up for couple of days liao. response has been pretty slow.

but i'm glad tat there'r old boys from other batches tat i duno hoo signed.

the petition is not juz abt getting the sch song reinstated. it's more abt creating awareness among all ex AHS ppl tat tis ridiculous act was commited by the board and approved by the alumni.

after we made a formal enquiry to the school abt the school song change, we were informed that the alumni has decided to play both songs at the anni dinner.

isn't tat common sense? and wat is the point??

if u made a decision to change the song, the least u can do is to stick to it and stand by it.
play the new school song at the dinner and shock all the past cohorts of students attending the dinner!

y do these ppl haf no stand? y try to make use of the old song to please the old boys when u haf gotten rid of it? y make use of it as a carrot for us to attend the dinner?

i saw some postings on the web abt ppl hoo haf been trying to boost sales of the dinner.

trust mi, if we feel for the sch, no need to do tis, we'll go back out of our own accord. anyway, the invites were only recd last thurs by everyone i noe.

frankly, dinner at the expo holds little significance to us. wouldn't it be better if it's held at on campus?

i've been wanting to revisit the sch but after the last incident when the security called the police for SY and gang's trepassing, i haf second thots abt it.

i wonder if the new publication for the 50th anni has the new song onli. i hope the publication has an explanation of how the school song changed.

mayb i'll get hold of a copy and write to them abt the discrepancy in the school song bet tis publication and the one i haf for the 30th anniversary.
